It’s no secret that rapper Snoop Dogg is an advocate for any and all puff-puff-pass activities. That’s why it comes as little surprise that he’s entering a new digital business venture that focuses on all things marijuana.
The rapper’s latest undertaking is aptly called Merry Jane, and he has collaborated with media entrepreneur Ted Chung to develop a site that serves as an information hub for those interested in the plant.
“Merry Jane is cannabis 2.0. [It is] a crossroads of pot culture, business, politics, health,” the 43-year-old said in a promotional video. He also hopes it encourages people to “just admit they like to smoke.”
What can consumers expect from the platform?
Get ready for a wide range of original content including a cooking show that spotlights edibles and weed pairings, a series titled Deflowered that features smokers reliving their first-time highs and some possible celebrity appearances.
Check out Merry Jane when it launches in October, and peep this sneak peek below.
