Police say the car caught fire when it went flying over a guardrail on I-285 in Atlanta’s South Fulton County. Last month, the AJC also found that this particular interstate is the deadliest in America. Walker was ejected from the vehicle and killed. TMZ shared that just hours before the crash, he was in an Atlanta strip club.
As one of the founding members of the rap group D4L, Shawty Lo helped to usher in a new sound into mainstream music during the early 2000s.
Major influencers from the music industry took to social media to express their condolences.
