The Gladiators are going on a fall season hiatus.
Yep, the addictive #TGIT Shondaland line up will look a bit different due to Scandal’s absence, with Season 6 of the series airing mid season. The show will be replaced by the based on a true story crime-drama Notorious.
The good news, however, is that Rhimes’ and company will still be dishing out tons of content. Grey’s Anatomy will still kick off the Thursday evening takeover and How To Get Away With Murder holds its 10/9 CST pm run time. And we’ll be introduced to Shonda’s latest creation, Still Star-Crossed.
The news comes after it was announced that Kerry is pregnant with her second child. Though the star has been verbally hush-hush, she was sure to make a statement during the MET Gala where she glowed while showing her baby bump.
So, what else does this schedule switch up mean? Scandal will not air at the same time of the upcoming presidential election, which has played a strong role in the show’s current story line.
