Media mogul Russell Simmons has apologized for featuring the “Harriet Tubman Sex Tape” video on his All Def Digital YouTube channel. The controversial video featured an actress portraying the abolitionist having sex with her master and blackmailing him into letting her run the Underground Railroad.
The video came under fire and a Change.org petition was even started for its removal. Simmons has since removed the video from his YouTube channel and issued an apology on his website GlobalGrind.com.
