Rihanna’s talking to Oprah

Rihanna sits down with Oprah for an interview Sunday on "Oprah's Next Chapter."

Oh, Rihanna.

So all eyes will be on the Barbados-born singer soon enough later this week, considering that she’s being interviewed by Oprah Winfrey on her OWN network. The “Oprah’s Next Chapter” interview airs Sunday, and we’ve been waiting for this moment for years, because we know that Winfrey won’t leave anything unasked.

Oprah talks to the singing sensation on her home turf by visiting the Carribean island and traveling to some of the places etched into Rihanna’s childhood.

But before we see her spill all, her ex-accountants are talking.

Her former accounting firm, Berdon LLP has fired back at her lawsuit against them (JETmag.com reported it earlier this year), and say that she lost her own money and they have nothing to do with it.

In the lawsuit, Rihanna alledged that they mismanaged her money and caused her to lose millions, that they didn’t inform her that her 2009 tour was losing money and that they took more commission than they should have; the firm says none of that is true.

They say their fee — 22 percent — was signed off by Rihanna and in legal documentations, they say that the singer’s “own financial action or inaction” or the actions of others working for her is how she lost the money. Not them.

They’re asking that she is awarded nothing; TMZ reports that a judge has yet to make a ruling on the case.
As far as the Winfrey interview — Rihanna gets rather emotional when talking about her former boyfriend Chris Brown.

“It was embarrassing, it was humiliating,” she said while crying. “I lost my best friend.”

The episode airs August 19 at 9pm on OWN.
