In this week’s episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta, I find myself agreeing with Kenya more than I thought was possible. I know, I’m shocked, too. But before we get to that part, let’s check out what else happened in “Crunk in the Trunk.”

Three’s Company

Last week, Cynthia’s sister, Malorie, dropped by unannounced and basically told Cynthia she’d be staying with her for two months. I love my sister, but a little advanced notice would be appreciated. #JustSaying In an effort to help her sister, Cynthia suggests hosting a trunk show for Malorie’s jewelry. Then she fills Malorie in on the argument she had with Peter and how she thinks she may have gone too far this time. Speaking of the devil, Peter comes in and starts to get into it with Malorie. His problem was that Cynthia hadn’t give him a heads up, which I can understand. But then Malorie goes straight for the gold and asks if it’s “about the sex thing.” Oh, she went there! However, Cynthia insists the sex is making a comeback.

Like Father, Like Daughter

Ever wonder where Kenya gets her bossiness from? Look no farther than her father, who decided to pay her a visit from Texas. Apparently, Kenya’s parents were just teens when she was born and her father’s mother is the one who actually raised her. Kenya believes she needs to resolve her issues with her mother in order to move forward in her life, but her dad seems to think she’d be just fine without her.

Later, Cynthia and NeNe go to visit Kenya and comment on the Bentley she has in her driveway. It looks like Kenya may have a sugar daddy in her life, but she isn’t sharing very many details right now. The ladies also learn that Kenya’s dad doesn’t believe in taking direction from women. Hi, excuse me, sir, it is 2014. Please have a seat in that chair of Kenya’s you didn’t like very much. Thank you.

Kenya also calls NeNe out for not wanting to do Kandi’s play because of her ego. But NeNe is adamant about not joining the “chitlin circuit.” C’mon, NeNe, aren’t you always telling Porsha to step up and be a better friend? Here’s an opportunity for you to be a friend to Kandi.

Cry Me a River

During the mediation meeting, Porsha and Kordell apparently couldn’t come to an agreement, so now it has to go to a judge. And, because there was no prenup, the drama continues. Phaedra and Kandi pay a visit to Porsha and ask her why she moved into such a big house so far away (an hour outside the city).

At the trunk show for Malorie, the rest of the girls are just as shocked as Cynthia was that Malorie showed up unannounced to stay for two months. Kenya even tries to talk some sense into her because Cynthia is married and has a household to consider. She has a point.

Then Kenya spills the beans to NeNe that Porsha moved into her neighborhood and NeNe is none too happy because Porsha didn’t let her know; thus, proving her point that Porsha is not a good friend. Of course, Porsha runs off crying. Kenya feels as though Porsha is milking the situation for sympathy points. And, for once, I agree with Kenya…I never thought I’d type those words!
