Quvenzhané Wallis Scores Book Deal

Quvenzhané Wallis has just added author to her growing resumé, because she has scored a four-book deal with Simon & Schuster.

Starting in 2017, the publishing company will release an unknown titled series of three chapter books and a picture book based on the 12-year-old’s experiences.

Shooting to stardom thanks to her performance in the Oscar-nominated film Houma, the Louisiana native has been the leading little lady in several flicks including Annie and 12 Years A Slave.

Her next project is Counting By 7s, a novel-turned-movie about a young girl who must rebuild her life after her adoptive parents are killed in a car accident.
