What the ladies of “Living Single” brought to television was a beautiful sisterhood that varied from the bad & boujee (Régine), the free-spirited earth child (Sinclaire), the independent woman (Khadija) and the sarcastic and successful sarcastic (Max).
I’m sure that someone in your girl squad fits each of these descriptions and that’s one of the many things that make womanhood fun! Living Single showed us how to exist in a cold world, navigate relationships, stand firm on our choices and do it all with your girls by your side.
We laughed, side-eyed, and fell in love right along with the ladies portrayed by Queen Latifah, Kim Fields, Kim Cole and Erika Alexander. Together, they navigated the Brooklyn streets and had a good time.
So, how would feel about the show getting a reboot?
Queen Latifah made a trip to Watch What Happens Live, Thursday night, and teased the possibility of a show reboot.
“It’s still very early days for the potential project,” she said. “[It’s] not there yet, but hopefully we can get it going.”
