We’ve seen President Barack Obama endure two presidential elections, crowds of cackling hecklers and a host of other political hardships. But can the leader of the free world survive a day in the wild?
We will find out when he’s put to the test on an episode of Running Wild with Bear Grylls, because NBC has announced that he will make an appearance on the show.
Obama will be in Alaska this week to address climate change, and while he’s there, he’ll join the host of the series for a few adventures.
According to the press release from the network, Obama “will become the first U.S. president to receive a crash course in survival techniques from Bear Grylls” as he hikes on a melting glacier and visits with a fisherman in the village of Dillingham.
How exciting?!
There is no official air date just yet, but his episode will debut later this year.
