For those unfamiliar with New Jersey singer/actor, Rotimi, allow us to acquaint you.
A graduate of Northwestern University, Rotimi is living out his dreams in the entertainment industry. With a background that extends to winning “Amateur Night” at the iconic Apollo at 15 and performing for Jay Z, the budding star has since carved an expansive career with two successful mixtapes and acting roles on the big and small screen. He’s been in the dark, political drama, Boss, starring Kelsey Grammar, Divergent, and Battle Creek, to name a few.
During a visit to Johnson Publishing Company’s Chicago headquarters, the charming entertainer shared his career journey while also dishing the scoop on his latest TV and music venture with rapper/businessman 50 Cent.
In addition to 50 signing the R&B singer to his G-Unit label and hopping on his latest track, “Lotto” (you can listen below), Rotimi can also been seen throughout the second season of STARZ Power, starring Omari Hardwick, Naturi Naughton, and Joseph Sikora.
