Money seems to never be on the list of “99 problems” that Jay Z has.
The Roc Nation CEO has named premium bottled water supplier NY02 the “official water” of Roc Nation, making him the second major rapper after Diddy attached to a water venture.
The partnership will provide water for all Roc Nation-affiliated tours and marketing campaigns, Black Enterprise reports. It will also be the branded water at Jay Z’s 40/40 Club.
The HOV-NY02 alliance will be “one of the most unique,” in the entertainment industry, Michael R. Yormark, president and chief of branding and strategy for Roc Nation, said in a press release.
NY02 President Elias Slubski believes that the partnership between the New York-based water company and the Brooklyn-born music mogul will “thrust American premium bottled water… higher than New York’s Empire State Building.”
