After getting the dubious distinction of the least liked movie trailer in YouTube-dom, the “New Ghostbusters” are back with a new tease and they don’t seem to be scared of their critics.
The latest look into the film (which opens on July 15 and stars an all-woman squad) opens with a line from SNL star Leslie Jones. (Jones, by the way was “defended” by Twitterati who don’t like that the film’s plot centers on her being the sole non-scientist of the crew.)
She also gets a gem in there when she tries to crowd surf at a concert and is allowed to hit the floor of the venue.
“I don’t know if it’s a race thing or a lady thing, but I’m mad as hell,” the comedian sputters.
Hmmmm….sounds like that could be a little shout out to overeager trolls on YouTube as well.
