Faith will definitely be tested in the most emotionally charged and intense season of WEtv’s Mary Mary, premiering February 27 at 9PM ET/PT.
Tina and Erica Campbell, known respectively as Grammy-winning gospel duo Mary Mary, try to grasp some sense of reality as their world quickly unravels. Following Tina Campbell’s tell-all EBONY exclusive about her husband’s infidelity, we see her fight for her marriage as she decides whether or not to forgive Teddy.
While Tina is unsure of what do to, Erica tries to be there for her sister, but finds that her outspoken sibling is not always interested in what she has to say. While trying to play confidant, Erica is also pursuing a solo career–a project stalled by constant trials and tribulations, including a health scare. Things continue to go farther south as the sisters learn that the patriarch of their family is stricken with a terminal illness.
What makes for even more chaos is the pair’s strained relationship with their manager, Mitchell, who has constantly dropped the ball on bookings and deals for Mary Mary. They are clearly disappointed in his failure to deliver results as of yet, but what will they do? Will they let Mitchell go? Better yet, will Mitchell go down without a fight?
With both their personal and professional lives coming apart, can the sisters keep it together?
