Mahogany the 1975 film, starring Diana Ross is the latest film in the works for a Hollywood reboot, reports BET.
The original film, directed by Motown founder Berry Gordy, follows Tracy (Diana Ross), an aspiring fashion designer from her humble beginnings in the slums of Chicago through fashion school as she hopes to become one of the world’s top designers. Her ambition leads her to Rome spurring a choice between the man she loves or her new found success.
Suzanne de Passe and her partner Phillip Madison Jones are looking to reboot Mahogany for their Passe-Jones Entertainment, reports Eurweb.
