Lupita Nyong’o continues to soar, and she’ll be doing just that as the newest cast member of Star Wars: Episode VII.
After much speculation, Walt Disney Co. made the announcement Monday. Gwendoline Christie, known for her role in Game of Thrones, has also been added to the cast.
The two women join John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac and Andy Serkis in the J. J. Abrams film set to be released December 2015.
No word yet on who the 31-year-old breakout star will play, but we’re certain she’ll rise to the occasion.
