Lil’ Mo Previews ‘R&B Divas LA’

So much music to make! But it all seems like Charlie Brown teacher is talking to me. *wonk wonk wonk wonk*

I’m so used to everyone else handling my business, but the fact is that I have to do it myself. I just want to gather my scattered thoughts, muzzle my emotions and see what comes about with everything going on – from the meeting with Caesar and the Puerto Rico Tourism Project, to this “Ladies Anthem” with Chanté.  To see Chanté’s manager kind of taken aback on what Chrisette, Leela and I felt from what we were told to what we actually did in the studio is making my Spidey senses uncomfy to the next step in completing the anthem.

But I also have my own songs to think about recording. I do not have enough personal time to babysit and worry about anyone else’s situation but my own. I don’t want to seem selfish, but because it is very evident that I still carry the knapsack of resistance and hurt from the Divalogue’s residue dirt, I must do what feels right. Hit the booth. SING. ALONE.

In my absence, Chrisette calls an emergency therapy session. She feels the need to discuss all that is transpiring and address any issues with the girls. Not everyone feels the same. So there is no telling who will or will not attend the therapy session. I know I have my own session, so count me out and fill me in.

On a more positive note, I’m so proud of Michel’le for following her heart to help heal those that are, have contemplated, or know someone who is dealing with issues of suicide.  This is a huge milestone for her to speak with the support group as part of her pushing forward. Kudos to my friend and sister-girl.

Lord….the dinner meeting that caps the episode is about to be some TEA!  Finally the Pink Elephant in the room with a rhinestone choker and glitter boots on can be addressed!! Here goes everything. As always, pray my skrent lol.

Love Always,

Lil’ Mo
