LeToya Luckett has been doing her thing in the acting realm. But, now the actress is taking a break from the set to release new sounds from the studio.
The down-to-earth former Destiny’s Child member is breaking out with new single, “Back 2 Life”, the first single from the upcoming album Until Then.
In an interview with People.com, Luckett described the project as getting “to fall in love with myself all over again.”
“As women, we go through so many changes and on this album, I let it out. I talk about my growth and listening back I can hear that growth.”
Luckett, who usually keeps her personal life under wraps was all smiles and snapshots with former beau and relationship expert, Robert Hill Sr. Unfortunately, to many who penned the beautiful couple as #relationshipgoals, the romance ended quietly, until Hill spoke about briefly during a talk radio show.
“I get healing from music. I want people to experience that. It’s not about being liked, not about the approval,” she told People. “It’s about the experience and pouring my heart. I just want people to hear my heart and that’s it. ”
