Scandal star Kerry Washington and her husband, former NFL star and philanthropist Nnamdi Asomugha, have a new member on the team.
E! News reports the actress gave birth to the couple’s second child, Caleb Kelechi Asomugha, earlier this month on October 5th. Like they did with their first child (and marriage) the ultra-private couple kept the details of little Caleb’s arrival under wraps, but we’re sure they’re bursting with joy.
Scandal has been on hiatus to give Washington time off for her family, but the actress revealed her pregnancy to the world back in May when she attended the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington, D.C. Though she probably would have liked to keep her pregnancy to herself, her baby bump gave her away.

Since May, Washington has shown up looking absolutely stunning on red carpets across the country, but she’s stayed mum about her private life. She and her husband are raising their daughter, Isabelle, outside of the public eye.

Last year Washington told the New York Post not to expect pictures of her daughter anytime soon.
“You know, I’m a really private person, and I feel like at some point you will [see her], but for now it is what it is.”
We’re almost certain the Washington-Asomugha clan will be the same with baby Caleb, too.
