Justin Timberlake dispelled rumors that he had beef with rapper Kanye West on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, where he’ll be appearing and performing all week for the aptly-titled “Justin Timberweek.”
In case you missed what the “beef” was all about: The media quickly hooked into the alleged feud when West was recorded criticizing Timberlake’s “Suit & Tie” collaboration with Jay-Z during a concert. Then, this weekend while hosting and performing on a highly-rated episode of Saturday Night Live, JT sneakily switched up the lyrics in said song – changing “so sick got a hit and picked up a habit” to “my hit’s so sick got rappers acting dramatic.” Then, of course, we all busted out a middle school oooooooooooooo.
But last night, the crooner cleaned up his act and told Fallon he was actually a big fan of Kanye, saying “For the record, I absolutely love Kanye. So, there’s that.”
Now, we wait for Kanye’s response.
In other news, Timberlake’s new album The 20/20 Experience doesn’t come out until next Tuesday, March 19th, but you can stream the entire thing now over at iTunes. Come back and tell us what you think of JT’s third solo effort. Worth the seven year wait?
