Jussie Smollett had Empire fans losing their minds when rumors circulated that he might be leaving the successful Fox series to pursue other opportunities in film and music. Well, the latter part of the narrative was indeed true as expressed in this video posted by Jussie following the season two finale.
And last night, he gave fans a first look of him as the honorable poet Langston Hughes for the upcoming film Marshall.
Starring Chadwick Boseman, the film depicts the life of the first African American Supreme Court Judge, Thurgood Marshall and is slated for a 2016 release date.
Had to go butt faced to be #LangstonHughes in #Marshall. Thank you @reghud for the opportunity. It’s been a dream pic.twitter.com/cNWVf0mBPs
