When three fitness trainers with sketchy backgrounds attempt to right their wrongs by taking down one extremely wealthy crook, the plan spirals out of control. Ever wondered what the life of a pimp is really like? This documentary follows the life of a legendary man from Chicago, who’s adventures tell a riveting story. Known for sparking the blaxplotation movement and writing seven ground-breaking books about his experiences, the film, in stores now, enlists the help of Snoop Dogg, Ice-T and Chris Rock to declare just how influential and acclaimed pimps have been to African-American culture.

If you thought maneuvering passed rats and break dancers on the subway was a hassle, try running through its tunnels to escape drug dealers. That’s how the group of friends in this movie, out on DVD, spent one Friday evening. After an impromptu drug deal went wrong in Brooklyn, the kids, who initially ventured to the burough for a concert, attempt to make back to Manhattan alive.
