Find out what it means to be a “sensate” in this global thriller that has just hit Netflix. The series follows the stories of eight people from around the world whose lives are suddenly connected while fighting for survival. All twelve episodes are available in all Netflix territories around the world. The Wachowskis (The Matrix, Cloud Atlas) created the film. The international cast includes: Brian J. Smith, Tuppence Middleton, Jamie Clayton, Miguel Angel Silvestre, Tina Desai, Doona Bae, Aml Ameen and Max Riemelt. Also, Daryl Hannah, Naveen Andrews, Terrence Mann, Freema Agyeman, and Alfonso Herrera.
What Happened, Miss Simone?
In this new documentary about the jazz legend, viewers get to witness the electrifying persona that is Nina Simone. The film originally debuted at Sundance in January to mixed reviews, but we encourage you to see it for yourself. The film combines footage of Simone’s performances and audio recordings of her songs with interviews. Simone’s daughter, Lisa Simone Kelly is among those who personally knew the singer to appear in the film. What Happened, Miss Simone? debuts on June 26 on Netflix.
Champs
Champs is a 2014 documentary film focusing on champion boxers Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield and Bernard Hopkins. After an international premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival last April, Champs was released in theaters, on VOD and on iTunes in Mar. 2015. The film will be made available on Netflix June 12.
