Fruitvale Station
Fruitvale Station tells the story of the events that led to 22-year-old Oscar Grant being killed by a Bay Area Rapid Transit officer. According to the film’s summary, Grant was a young man who was looking to better his life and strengthen his relationship with his family and girlfriend whom he had a baby girl with. Things took a dramatic turn on New Year’s Day when Grant had an encounter with an officer. Michael B. Jordan stars in the film as Oscar, alongside Forest Whitaker who also serves as Fruitvale Station’s producer. The film made its debut during the 2013 Sundance Film Festival. The Wedding Ringer
Get ready for a great comedy. The Wedding Ringer tells the story of socially-awkward Doug Harris (Josh Gad) who is preparing for his wedding but there is one element missing: A best man. Doug continues on to find Jimmy Callahan (Kevin Hart) who specializes in providing best man services for men who don’t necessarily have friends on board to do so. The movie is now available via Redbox and in stores near you.
