Comedian Jermaine Fowler is set to star in and co-executive produce an upcoming CBS pilot entitled Superior Donuts.
Based on a play by Tracy Letts, the show centers on Arthur, the owner of a Chicago donut shop, and his relationship with his new and only employee Franco, who is played by Fowler.
While Arthur is an old school chap adjusting to his gentrified neighborhood, Franco is highly energetic and determined to bring his boss up to speed.
No word on when the series will air, but stay tuned!
