Last month, we asked who you’d cast in the upcoming Jem and the Holograms movie.
Today, The Hollywood Reporter revealed the director’s picks: Nashville actress Aubrey Peeples will play the lead role of Jem; former Disney actress Stefanie Scott will play Jem’s sister, Kimber; Aurora Perrineau, who has appeared on Pretty Little Liars and is also the daughter of The Best Man actor Harold Perrineau, will play Shana; and Hayley Kiyoko of The Fosters has been cast as Aja.
The movie is based on the popular ’80s cartoon series of the same name. Shooting for the movie has already started; however, there is not a release date as of yet.
