Janet Jackson could become a Rock & Roll Hall of Famer in the near future, because she’s been nominated for the prestigious honor.
The star, who recently made a comeback that features a world tour and new album, is among a few other hopefuls including N.W.A., Chaka Khan, The Spinners and more.
To be considered, an artist or band must have released their first single or LP at least 25 years ago. Additionally, fans can vote for who they’d like to see inducted by visiting the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame website.
Selectees will be announced this December and initiated next April.
