The above quote came as part of Chris Rock’s opening monologue during the 88th Oscars ceremony. To many who watched or got wind of Chris’ jabs at the celebrity couple, the question of whether Will and/or Jada would respond came to mind. Would they lash out? Is the friendship still in tact? Was it even that bad?
True, Chris may have rattled the nerves of some who tuned in to the controversial awards ceremony, but for Jada, it required nothing more than a brush off the shoulder.
“It comes with the territory,” the actress and human rights advocate told x17Online. “We got to keep it moving, there’s a lot of stuff in our world right now. We got to keep it moving.”
