Welp, that didn’t take very long.
The Standard Hotel in New York has fired the employee accused of recording security video that appears to show Solange Knowles attacking rapper Jay Z in an elevator following the Met Gala.
According to a statement released by the hotel, the person was terminated for “breaching the security policies of the hotel and recording the confidential CCTV video.”
The employee was reportedly paid $250,000 for the video, which gossip site TMZ posted on Monday.
Let’s hope he or she invested wisely…
