Tyler Perry is known for creating juicy dramas and intriguing storylines, and that’s exactly what keeps viewers coming back each week to watch The Haves and the Have Nots.
Last season’s finale back in September pulled in 4.1 million viewers and ranked as the night’s #1 cable telecast for women women. If that wasn’t impressive enough, the series regularly ranks as Tuesday night’s #1 original cable series.
In the new season, Perry and the cast up the drama. The network explains, “Hanna (Crystal. R Fox) is tested like never before. Hanna and her son, Benny, (Tyler Lepley) are stripped of everything they have once Candace’s (Tika Sumpter) latest hustle fails miserably. In the premiere episode, Veronica (Angela Robinson) is stunned after Katheryn (Renee Lawless) lashes out in anger.”
