Trust, competition was tough as we all know that throwing that “#” sign in front of a term does not guarantee it greatness. There are levels to this type of social recognition. There has to be some brand of controversy, take the most recent #NoJusticeNoLebron, for example. If controversy isn’t the name of the game, then we have to be able to laugh with it as in #BeyonceAlwaysOnBeat. Or it must stir up emotion like #BlackLivesMatter and #SayHerName.
