Leslie Jones is definitely making moves.
First, she jumped from the writers’ room to the on-camera domain of Saturday Night Live.
Then, she stole a few scenes in mentor Chris Rock’s Top Five.
And now, The Hollywood Reporter shares that she has officially been named to the new, re-imagined Ghostbusters movie along with SNL alum Kristen Wiig, as well as other funny ladies Melissa McCarthy and current co-star Kate McKinnon. The director, Paul Feig, confirmed the scoop with this tweet.
It’s official. I’m making a new Ghostbusters & writing it with @katiedippold & yes, it will star hilarious women. That’s who I’m gonna call.
