The music industry’s global trade group has officially decided to make Friday the global album release date.
Album releases are pretty unpredictable these days and your favorite artists can either surprise you (remember that hot sneak album Beyonce dropped?) or leave you completely unprepared for what’s next.
Many sources claim this decision will help address the problem of piracy leaks and music consumers getting albums on completely different days than other countries. The shift will take place this Summer.
