FLOTUS Co-Hosts ELLEN and Here’s What Happened

Today, our First Lady Michelle Obama made a graceful appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres show with a fresh silk blow out, looking flawless per usual. Not only did FLOTUS co-host the show, she had a chance to reflect on what she would miss the most after their departure.

“It’s really the people,” Obama told DeGeneres.

“The girls have grown up in the White House. The staff that’s there, we see them every day. These are people who have helped us raise our kids. They’ve loved us. They’ve taken care of us. And the minute we leave, that’s it. It’s really the people we’ll miss most.”

Obama is almost certain that her daughters will be experiencing some adjustments to their new life change. “They think they’re ready, but when you’ve grown up in a place, I mean, imagine,” Obama said. “They won’t be able to knock on a door and say, “Can I see my room?”

DeGeneres commended the Obamas’ on their parenting skills, especially having to raise their children under the public eye. “It’s hard enough to raise children period…but to raise children in front of everyone, at the White House, you’ve done an amazing job,” DeGeneres said. Despite of Malia’s recent social media scrutiny, Obama said, “I’m just proud that they are poised, smart, intelligent young women.”

The show wouldn’t be complete unless there was some dancing involved. Of course our FLOTUS was a willing participant in busting some moves on stage and greeting the audience with waves and smiles. Check out the video here.
