DMX…Return of The “Stick-up Kid?”

Uh-oh!

Dark Man X may be returning to his stick-up kid days while struggling to survive in the streets of Yonkers, New York as a youngster.

According to NBC New York, a man claims that DMX, real name Earl Simmons and his crew robbed him for $3,200 at a Newark gas station.

In a statement made to police, the 21-year-old man reported that he was talking to the rapper around 12:30 am about rap music when someone from X’s entourage flashed a gun and demanded cash. At that point, the man pulled cash from his pocket and allegedly DMX grabbed it and hopped in a black Cadillac Escalade with crew members and left the scene- but not fast enough. The man says he was able to record the license plate number of one of the four vehicles.

Police are currently investigating the alleged robbery.

X, who resides in South Carolina, is still active in the music industry and has been touring various cities performing. Saturday, the Yonkers-bred emcee performed at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark.

At this time no charges have been filed.
