
One half of the hip-hop duo made famous for the ’80s hit “It Takes Two” has passed away.
Rodney Bryce (pictured right), better known as DJ E-Z Rock, died Sunday at the age of 46, according to Rolling Stone.
The magazine reports Bryce’s friend and collaborator Rob Base confirmed the news.
DJ E-Z Rock and Rob Base achieved mainstream fame with the 1988 hit “It Takes Two,” which was produced by Teddy Riley and contained a sample of the Lyn Collins’ 1972 hit “Think (About It).”
The cause of death has not been released.
