In this week’s episode, we all get to know Lisa Wu a little better. We learn that before she was on Real Housewives of Atlanta, she was a writer and producer, which surprises us all. We also find out that she’s producing a movie right now that stars some pretty impressive talent including Terrence Howard, Laura Dern and Lou Gossett, Jr. So she’s evidently not just a pretty face.
That doesn’t mean we don’t question her credibility as an actress. Golden, in particular, won’t let go of the fact that Lisa is a “reality” star and that she didn’t work as hard as the rest of us to get where she is. I’m all about giving Lisa a chance and think Golden should, too. I think it’s really sad that Golden is being so closed-minded when each one of us got into show business with different talents.
But I’m learning quickly that Golden thinks she’s right about a lot of things. In this week’s episode, she accompanies me to an appointment to try on some custom shapewear that I’ve had made. She appears to have taken me on as her “little project.” I’ve agreed to explore all options for my body before moving forward with liposuction, but I know I’m going to get it. Golden says absolutely not, but being heavy isn’t her world. And she isn’t my mama!
Also this week we all gather to learn more about Paula Jai’s film project. That is, everyone but Elise, who fails to come to the meeting. We all present our script ideas but – surprise! – guess whose idea gets the green light?
