The past year has been one of destructive turbulence for actor Columbus Short. After being fired from ‘Scandal’ at the growing heights of its popularity and his star power, a string of volatile reports and arrests swamped Short’s existence.
From feuds with his wife, claims of infidelity, and a temper that caused disruption during a friends wedding followed by a separate night of public intoxication which led to another jail stint, Columbus’s road and career were on the declins.
After a candid interview on Access Hollywood, Columbus made it public knowledge that he was abusing drugs and alcohol during his time on Scandal. Admitting that his life went on a downward spiral following the death of a friend, he also noted that there is no bad blood between he and his former Scandal fam. Most importantly, they just wanted him to get himself together.
