I don’t know what to say JET fam, so I’ll just start off with the straightforward facts. Christina Aguilera and a hologram of Whitney Houston are slated to perform a duet on The Voice this season.
Is this a play on “The Voice” appearing on The Voice? Cute! But, why a duet?
ET News reports that rumors began swirling last week about the “special performance,” however when they spoke with Aguilera she was tight-lipped about the production.
“I can’t say anything, but I’m very excited about the finale,” the singer told reporters.
Hmmm.
We knew that a Whitney Houston hologram was on the way and a full tour was in the works. However, this particular combo is leaving us like…eh, huh?
Guess what? It’s unsettling to others too. Below are a few social media responses to the news.
No disrespect to Christina Aguilera, but why is a Whitney Houston hologram not just Whitney by herself? Is NBC paying for it or something?
