While America comes to grips with the election of Donald Trump as the country’s next president, at least one prominent person is already throwing his hat in the ring for the next presidential election–Chris Rock.
Late Thursday afternoon, the comedian tweeted that he was getting into the race for the White House.

While he may be joking–or laying the groundwork for one of his Netflix comedy specials–Rock’s sorta been down this road before. In 2003, he ran for presidency, albeit on screen, in Head of State.
If he does make a bid for the White House, Rock will have a little competition from fellow performer Kanye West, who declared he was running for POTUS during last year’s MTV Awards.
Rock vs. Yeezy? Sounds like the makings of a super entertaining debate.
