Birdman stays afloat when it comes to executive moves.
The co-founder of Cash Money Records posted a photo earlier this week with Apple Music executive Larry Jackson, with hints that the two are cooking up something.
Apple has been looking to add more original content to their platform and sealed a deal with Cash Money Records as part of their video production efforts.
The service already has a few projects in the works like “Planet of the Apps” and recently locked in the rights for a TV show based off of James Corden’s popular Carpool Karaoke segments.
As for the Cash Money Records deal, a documentary about the hip-hop label that is home to artists Drake, Nicki Minaj and Lil’ Wayne, to name a few, is in the works.
