The much anticipated Ryan Coogler-directed Black Panther movie is still two years away from its February theatrical release.
But, Marvel has been kind enough to plant seeds of Black Panther’s universe, especially for those who are just becoming familiar with the series.
So, along with the pen game and comic book genius of Ta-Nehisi Coates, the studio launched a video series of the rebooted Black Panther comic book series, which breaks down the superhero’s world.
The first episode was released last week and provided the backstory of T’Challa’s (Black Panther) home, the fictional nation of Wakanda and the dual lives of the character—superhero and super-scientist.
In the second installment, released today, Coates sets the audience up with an in-depth backstory and introduces key characters who will likely gauge the interest of long-time fanatics and newby’s to the series.
