An unapologetic and innovative energy was felt during the 5th annual Black Girls Rock! broadcast on Sunday night as women of service, entertainment and the creative arts united in one room to celebrate each other and those who aspire to succeed and lead a life that makes a positive difference. There was a synergy that spoke volumes and delivered messages of empowerment, chance, opportunity and action.

The Queen of Percussion opened the show with a rockin’ bang as she served style – musically and fashionably- and sung her hit “Glamorous Life.” Lady She demanded the stage and the audience followed her powerhouse lead with no hesitation as they instantly stood to their feet to rock!
