It’s the debate that will forever ignite fiery conversation when it comes to hip-hop and the greatest lyricists.
For some, it’s easy to sound off on their go-too emcees, but for others, there’s a sea of ingredients that go into crowning the “best to ever do it.”
What goes into the decision-making is uniquely yours and is often based on a specific era, delivery, content, cultural impact and even record sales.

There are the newbies such as: Kendrick, Wayne, Drake.
There are the legends such as: KRS-One, Big Daddy Kane, Rakim.
Billboard rolled out its Top 10 Best Rappers List with number 10 being Lil’ Wayne and the number one spot being held by the Notorious B.I.G.
Rounding out their selections (in no specific order here) are Rakim, Andre 3000, Ghostface Killah, Lauryn Hill, Nas, Eminem, and Jay-Z.
