Adoption is not something that many people think about but it can make a world of difference in a child’s life. While we often hear about White celebrities following this untraditional path to parenthood, there are Black stars who do the same. Scandal producer Shonda Rhimes recently adopted her third child, and earlier this week newlywed Janet Jackson revealed her plans to adopt “at least two” children from war-torn Syria in the future.
