The all-about-skin beauty brand is giving us sunscreen to love.
Glossier is the beauty brand that totes being all-about-skincare. Their skin first motto has always made it a bit weird that the brand didn’t have a sunscreen until now. With their nude to the finish foundations and skin-like blushes, we depend on the beauty brand to let us perfect our complexion while caring for our skin. As Glossier always does, they are finally stepping up to the plate to give us a sunscreen that we’ll be sure to love.
“Sunscreen has been our number one most requested product since the launch of Glossier,” she wrote in an announcement post on Into the Gloss. And now, after two years of testing and development, the skincare and cosmetics company is sharing a sneak peek of their sun-blocking formula.”It’s like water on the skin and it smells good. And it doesn’t get in the way of any makeup you might want to apply afterward. And it blocks UVA, UVB, free radical damage, and other pollution grossness that you might come up against while trying to live your best life.
There isn’t much more information available on the Invisible Shield at the moment, but Glossier has been fielding questions about the sunscreen through comments. They’ve let fans know that the sunscreen will be launching later this week and reassured commenters that it is clear on every skin tone. The sunblock is SPF 35 and will not affect the formula of their other products. The only comment that Glossier has yet to answer from fans is whether the sunscreen will have a chemical formula.
