Android, the mobile operating system designed by Google, has released a line of new “Android Wear” today.
The G Watch by LG and the Gear Live by Samsung are interactive watches that boast easy use for Android customers. Each watch “moves app notifications to the watch’s face, and it puts Google Now’s voice-powered search capabilities on your wrist,” according to Wired.
Both watches are now available online.
Android Wear joins Android TV and Android Auto to complete the OS’ interface chain.
With this new technology, users can be reminded of that 4 p.m. dentist appointment while texting mom about the groceries. Just say “OK Google.”
The LG costs $230 and Samsung’s watch is $200.
