Oscar Grant’s Father Can Sue Officer
A federal appeals court says Oscar Grant’s father can sue the Northern California transit officer who shot and killed his son on a train platform, according to the Associated Press.
The former NFL star was granted parole on some of his 2008 convictions for kidnapping and armed robbery involving the holdup of two sports memorabilia dealers at a Las Vegas hotel room. But he may still face jail time for other charges.
