Kali Uchis is living in disaster. You and me both, sis. America has got us all in a chokehold.
Fortunately for the Colombian songstress, her disaster involves the ups and downs of being crazy in love on her latest single, “Tyrant.” “All around we go / Your lovin’ is like a kaleidoscope / I don’t wanna come down / Keep spinnin’ me ’round and ’round,'” she sings. Ain’t love a trip?
The breakout vocalist recently released the accompanying video for her Jorja Smith-assisted track. Directed by Helmi, Kali stands still for majority of the video as visuals of world catastrophes flicker by on television screens behind her.

Additionally, Uchis will head out on her first American Tour this fall, kicking off on September 12 in Boston before hitting Seattle, Los Angeles, Austin, Nashville, Philadelphia, New York and more.
