The Obama campaign is taking full advantage of Gen. Colin Powell’s recent endorsement of the President by featuring the former secretary of state in their latest campaign ad, the Huffington Post reports.
Powell, who still identifies as a Republican, lent his support to the President (once again; supported him in the 2008 election as well) during an interview on CBS’ The Early Show. He cites Obama’s economic recovery efforts, rescue of the auto industry, and national security strength as a few of the reasons why.
According to the campaign, the ad will run in Colorado, Florida, Ohio, Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada, North Carolina, Virginia, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
