Students at Spring Valley High School gathered in support of a South Carolina police officer who was fired after video of him dragging and slamming a female student in a classroom surfaced.
Footage posted to social media shows students attempting to walk out around 10 am in support of Ben Fields.

Fields, who was let go on Wednesday, was also an assistant football coach at the school.
Spring Valley Principal Jeff Temoney addressed the students during the walkout and stated that he “heard their voices and appreciates you for doing this.”
Students were also wearing t-shirts that say “Free Fields” and “#Bring Back Ben.”
